I love Winter Weddings! There is something magical about a wedding taking place as the light dims, with the couple surrounded by candles and loved ones. Liz and Richard wanted just that, They had a vision of what they wanted and 13 weeks (yep 13!) to bring it all together. So back in early November, Team Tickety took over Yeldersley Hall to transform the already beautiful space. With the marquee for the wedding breakfast to style, plus the ceremony and bar area it was an exciting opportunity to be creative.
The colour palette of gold, sage green, silver and dusky pink, hanging lanterns, and modern calligraphy signage from the wonderful Polly and Me transformed the marquee. The tables were dressed with a stunning tablescape by Jo Beth Floral designs, eucalyptus name places and pinecones. The muted colours teamed with the gold worked so well against the blank canvass of the marquee, bringing it all together.
When Liz imagined walking down the aisle she envisaged candles everywhere, so we created this using giant lanterns to line the walkway and a cascade of candles at the front of the ceremony area. Using wooden crates to add different levels, and bud vases of flowers mixed in to create an enchanted effect.
All of this was captured perfectly by Ann Kathrin Koch, I literally squealed with delight when I received the images from her. I hope you love them too…
